Product Page: The following picture is a sample product page. The product title, product number, condition, price, and description are all self-explanatory. The following picture shows the areas of interest that might not be so obvious at first glance.
1) Main Product Image: An image of the product will always show in the middle of the screen. When the picture is clicked, a new window will appear that shows a larger version of the picture that was clicked. This provides the ability to view a very high detailed version of the picture (click here to see an explanation of the full size picture window).
2) Thumbnail Images: Below the main image is a series of alternate views of the product. Clicking any of the thumbnail images will cause the main product image to be replaced by a larger version of the one that was clicked. This provides the ability to view each of the different views of the product without having to scroll through a long page of pictures.
3) Previous & Next Item: Depending upon how the product page was called, there may be clickable links on the side of the main product image that indicate that there are more products that can be viewed. When viewing a product that was accessed from a listing of search results, the other products in the listing can be viewed without having to continually go back to the search results page. Clicking the 'Next Item' link will automatically load the next product from the search results listing. Clicking the 'Previous Item' link will automatically load the product that came before this item. Once the end of the list is reached, the 'Next Item' link will not be displayed.
4) 'You Are Here': At the top of most pages, there is a section that shows where in the web site the current page is located. In the product pages, there can be one or two links to available here. If a menu item that shows a pre-built list (such as 'Rarities') was chosen, then it will show in this section. If a search was performed, then the results of that search will be made available here, as well as a link to the blank search page. Clicking any of these links will re-load the list that was displayed prior to viewing the current product.
