Searching and Results: The following picture is a sample picture page that shows the results of a product search. The explanation below explains the areas of interest that might not be so obvious at first glance.
1) Search Options: There are five options available for searching for products. They can be used in any combination. Entering text in the 'Keywords' field will cause the system to look for products with the word(s) specified in the product title or in the description of the product. The four drop-down menus provide options for searching by Price, Cutting House, Shape of the Glass, and associated Category. If multiple search options are specified, the system will search for products that match all of the options indicated.
2) Results Page Navigation: The number of products that show in the listing can sometimes be quite large. The system is designed to show up to 10 items on one page. If the results of a search are more than this, then the results will be presented in groups of 10. To view products in the different groups, click on the 'page' number that appears at the top and bottom of the product listing. The current page will always be indicated by a number that is not a link (just black). Other accessible pages can be clicked, and are indicated as such by being underlined and colored beige/light-brown. Clicking the 'Next' link will show the results page that comes after the current page. Clicking the 'Previous' link will show the results page that comes prior the current page.
3) 'View Details' and Product Images: The details of a product can be viewed, along with a larger version of the product image. Clicking the words 'View Details', or the picture of the product, will display the product details page (click here to see an explanation of the product details page).
