Description:

This 12-inch tall Libbey vase is cut on one of the clearest and whitest blanks we have enjoyed for quite some time.  The three wide, clear flutes showcase the excellence of the blank and the interesting design.  The exact vase is shown on page 152 of the ca. 1909 Libbey catalog (an ACGA reprint); it is cut in the Libbey "No.225" design.

The top diameter of the vase is 5 1/2-inches. The cutting is deep, precise and wheel-finished to a mirror-like perfection; the bottom has a 32-point rayed star.  There is no internal discoloration or residue.
