Description:

This magnificent two-piece punchbowl was cut by T.B. Clark & Co. in their old and very difficult-to-acquire "Mercedes" design.  It is 14-inches in diameter and stands 11 1/2-inches tall; the blank is 7/16-inch thick and the two pieces weigh a total of 21.6-lbs.  The very deep and precise cutting is wheel-polished to a mirror-like perfection.  The bowl is signed with the old Clark trademark (a carafe & 'Clark & Co.' in a circle) which dates this as a pre-1898 piece.

This is a finely-crafted piece of American Brilliant cut glass that is worthy of permanent display.
