Two-piece punchbowls can vary in shape and size to a considerable degree.  The majority of the 14-inch round punchbowls would be 14-inches in height, a very few would reach a height of 18-inches and even fewer would be only 10-inches tall.

This 14-inch round by 10-inch tall two-piece punchbowl is a very difficult shape to acquire.  It has an eye-catching shape that contrasts to and displays very well with the other, more common shapes.

The blank is of the finest quality -- very clear and water-white; the cutting is deep and polished to a fiery brilliance.  The cut-all-over design features eight different motifs.  We have been unable to identify the name of the design or the cutting house but it is of an over-all quality that suggests it came from a major cutting house.  Both the bowl and the base are in extremely fine condition.
