This pair of solid green candlesticks stands 9 3/4-inches tall and each has a 4-inch diameter base.  They are made from solid green glass whose intensity of color varies as does the thickness of the glass itself.  The faceted knobs -- being the thickest -- have the most intense green color.  The 3 1/4-inch fluted area on the stem between the two knobs has a beautifully-formed air bubble that follows the shape of the stem.  The pieces have a brilliant polish and a soft, silky feel.

We cannot name the design, the cutting house or even the country of origin but we CAN say these candlesticks are simply elegant, are a delight to behold and are worthy of prominent display.  Both pieces are in better than extremely fine condition excepting very minor wear marks on the bottoms.
