Description:

It is difficult at best to find a matching set of four wines and especially so in a ruby-to-clear color!  The wines stand 4 3/8-inches tall and have a top rim diameter of 2 5/8-inches; the feet have 24-point rayed stars.  The cutting is precise and entirely wheel-polished; the wines are heavy for their size and have a good balance.  The cutting house is unknown although the shape of the blank does appear in the T.G. Hawkes catalog.  The blanks are of American origin as is evidenced by the apple-green color when exposed to long-wave black-light.  Both the top and base rims are original and all pieces are in better than extremely fine condition excepting very minor wear marks to the bottoms.
