Description:

This easy-to-look-at massive vase is one of the largest American Brilliant cut glass vases we have offered in several years.  The cut-all-over design has twelve different motifs:  crosshatching; lattice; flared, notched miters; fans; fanned fans; diamond-shaped areas with 'tic-tac-toes;' pinwheels; hob diamonds; cane; flat hobstars, and chains of 8-point hobstars with crosshatched buttons.  The base has a large, 24-point radiant star and the top and bottom diameters are 8 1/4-inches.  The vase stands 24 1/2-inches tall and weighs a hefty 22 3/4-lbs.

We have not been able to identify the design or cutting house but we welcome your input as to the identification of this fine vase.  Th blank is clear and water-white and the cutting is very well-done; the piece has a brilliant polish and there is no internal cloudiness or residue.  This very well-crafted vase deserves prominent display.
