Description:

O.F. Egginton of Corning, NY cut this fine American Brilliant cut glass rose bowl in his "Creswick" design.  It stands 4 1/2-inches tall and has a 6-inch diameter; a faint Egginton signature was found at the center of the inside of the rose bowl.  The blank is unusually clear and colorless; the cutting is polished to a mirror-like brilliance.  The combination of the clear, colorless blank and the brilliant polish create a very fiery appearance.  The base has a deeply-cut, 24-point radiant star.  All in all, a beautiful piece that is both for display and for use.  Enjoy!
